‘The Capital 5’ to turn many heads: Iran self-proclaimed ‘unattractive’ actor

Iranian comedian Ali-Reza Khamseh says to ifilm in an exclusive interview ‘The Capital 5’ will draw a big audience.

Iranian comedian Ali-Reza Khamseh says to ifilm in an exclusive interview that the fifth sequel to ‘The Capital’ will draw a big audience.

The superb comedy actor revealed to ifilm the popular series new installment being shot at the moment will wrap up before the start of the New Persian Year in March 2018.

He also noted that ‘The Capital 5’ is very nice and the audience will sure enough welcome the series.”     

In response to a query in the ifilm interview as to why he keeps on saying his look is "unattractive," Khamseh said, “My unattractive look made me double my efforts to be seen in society… proving that such people can be notable.”

Four seasons of the series ‘The Capital’, directed by Siroos Moghaddam, already came out in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The first season started with the story of a family's migration from the small town of Aliabad to the capital, Tehran, and troubles they encounter.

Mohsen Tanabandeh, Alireza Khamseh, Rima Raminfar, Ahmad Mehranfar have appeared in installments of the series.
